The highlight of my stay was enjoying a hot buffet breakfast with a lovely variety. the outdated decor and the cramped bathroom were disappointing aspects that need attention.

Historic ambience, diverse room options, scenic train rides
The carpets throughout the hotel are stained and unkempt rooms spoil any charm!!! Maintenance should address broken amenities and poor lighting in rooms for a more comfortable stay!!! A good scrub and modern updates are long overdue!!!

We had a lovely experience with a good breakfast spread and the lovely bathtub in the room. Despite some worn areas, it felt cozy and acceptable for the price. Would definitely return!

Good choice for short stays
The breakfast was more than decent, offering a range of options unlike those stale places you might find on a budget. And the staff? They were friendly, really went out of their way to help us out, making a big difference.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain but it was acceptable for the experience we got.

I recently stayed at The Manor in Hillingdon for a short trip. The hotel had a charming character, which I appreciated. My room, a Classic Double Room, was clean upon arrival. The bed felt comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. Breakfast included a variety of options that I found satisfying, especially the cooked items and fresh fruit. The WiFi worked well throughout my stay, allowing me to stay connected. Parking was free and available even after checkout, which was a big plus as I had a full day planned in Windsor. Staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to give suggestions about the local area. some carpets in the public areas appeared worn, which detracted from the overall aesthetics. My bathroom felt a bit cramped, and while it met basic needs, an update would enhance the comfort experience. Noise from surrounding rooms was noticeable during the night, which disturbed my sleep a bit.

location is the only upside
The room had a flat-screen TV, private bathroom, and good coffee/tea maker. The bed comes with feather pillows for extra comfort. They offered free toiletries and the heating worked well. The place is situated close to Windsor, making it easy to explore the nearby attractions.

the breakfast was pretty good with lots of options, and the staff were friendly n helpful. room was clean n comfy enough for a short stay. free parking available which was a plus. good value for money if ur just looking for a place to crash. location is convenient for visiting windsor quickly.
however, some areas felt kinda worn down like the carpets and there were a few maintenance issues in the room. also, the bathroom layout was a bit cramped and could use some fixing.

Historic, historic, historic.
The hotel exudes a unique charm with its rich history. it’s actually mentioned in the Doomsday Book—talk about timelessness! I loved waking up to views of the picturesque gardens that surround the property, making each morning feel like a fresh start. The complimentary breakfast was a delightful bonus, setting a cozy tone for the day ahead!
would recommend 🥰❤️

missingWrote a review on Apr 19adequate breakfastdecent grilled fishpoorly cleaned roomdelayed check-inunprofessional staff
The room was poorly cleaned, with a dusty floor and hair scattered everywhere, which was unacceptable. While the breakfast offered some decent grilled fish, it lacked a variety of ingredients. Check-in was initially delayed, and there was little professionalism when concerns were expressed to the staff about the cleanliness.

I loved the breakfast, with freshly baked croissants and a variety of organic juices! 🥐 The only downside was the worn carpets around the hotel.
